Circulation of Roman Republican Denarii
|
Some roman coins did circulate quite a long time, especially republican denarii.
The aim of this page is to show 3 denarii which were in circulation for many year. The minimum circulation time is determined from the time of mint to the time of the application of countermarks, assuming that the coins were in continous circulation - not hidden in a hoard meanwhile.
